Safety is paramount in the offshore industry and to do any job
safely the appropriate tools are required. The Make or Break
has been developed so as to reduce the risk of injury to the parties
involved while changing out worn or damaged Bulk Hoses and this
in turn reduces the manual handling.
The Make or Break supports the Bulk Hose at a specific height for
the Hammer Union to be struck and secures the Bulk Hose in place
by means of quick release clamps which reduces movement of the Bulk
Hose and the Make or Break also aligns both Bulk Hose for easier
Make up or Break out.
The Make or Break weighs less than the maximum 25 kilos and is
designed and constructed for maximum strength and durability.
Manufacturer:
The company fabricating the Make or Break unit was formed in 1978
and services the Petrochemical, Construction Industries. Over the years
the Company has been involved in a diverse range of services all
successfully executed by an experienced and dedicated workforce.
C.A.D.:
Computer aided design system is used for the compilation of work
packs, fabrication drawings and detailed design.
